- Over 1,300 hours in body and paint
A full body restoration carried out by DPM — mechanical and trim work was done separately, by another firm. Over 1,300 hours went into the body and paint alone, taking the shell back to bare metal before the panels seen here went back on.
The car arrived at DPM as a stripped shell, in one of the poorest conditions the workshop has taken on. Every exterior panel came off for blasting, and the inner structure — floors, chassis rails, inner wings, scuttle and boot floor — was fabricated from scratch before paint. The underside was finished in the factory's black stone-chip texture. Once DPM's own bodywork and paint were complete, the mechanical rebuild and interior refit were carried out by another shop. The whole restoration was documented on film by JPM Productions.

Bring us the car you are not willing to compromise on.
Ask for David Pearce-Martin. He would rather see a car than quote from photographs of one, so the first conversation usually ends with a date to bring it over. Dave, Ellis and Paul are who you will meet when you do.
